It only takes a simple distraction behind the wheel of a motor car to cause mayhem. It's unbelievable the kind of activities drivers engage in, or where they are looking at, when they should be concentrating on an important task - moving tons of metal through a place called road, at speeds of up to 27 metres per second!

This week's Road Safety Tip: AVOID ROAD RAGE
Reports in newspapers or on television shock us, what madness often takes place on our roads. Normally safe, responsible motorists may make a simple error of judgement, something all drivers do, and suddenly find themselves under attack at the next traffic lights, where an angry driver is venting his frustration.
Here are five hints to avoid being a target > > >
1.
Drive with doors/windows locked.
2. Drive orderly, safely, leave margins.
3. Never retaliate; it inflames a situation.
4. Get away from the offender/s, fast.
5. Identify offender/s, report to police.
